Who can advertise on our upcoming event boards?

  • The community event sign boards are available for local organisations and community groups to advertise their upcoming events.
  • Your event must be within Rangiora or one of the surrounding rural towns (e.g Ashley, Fernside etc).
  • ​Preference will be given to free community events.
  • Your sign can be displayed for a maximum of 3 weeks prior to your event, and in peek times a maximum of 2 weeks prior.
Sign Specifications.

All signs to be displayed on the upcoming event sign boards require the following specification:

  • 4 signs total, each measuring 1800mm wide x 600mm deep. (Please note this is different to previous years where both sides of the Board were available for us)
  • 'What, When, Where' only (see above examples in photo).
  • A proof must be provided for approval to Rangiora Promotions in advance of printing your signs.
Booking your space.

  • Bookings are required to display an event sign on these boards and we advise getting in touch as early as possible to confirm your space.
  • Preference will be given to annual community events and not  events occurring multiple times throughout the year.
Rules and requirements.

  • Once you have made your booking Rangiora Promotions will confirm the exact dates your sign can be displayed.
  • ​Signs can be erected after 12noon on the first date of your booking.
  • ​Signs must be removed by 12noon the day after the last day of your event.

Pricing.

Pricing is for total cost of advertising on all 4 Community Signboards, with a sign on one side of each board only (I.e. you only need to provide 4 signs in total, and the pricing covers all 4)
  • Commercial/for profit events and enterprises: $100+GST/week
  • Non commercial events and enterprises who are NOT currently members of  Rangiora Promotions Association: $50+GST/week
  • Non-Commercial Rangiora Promotions Association members: $25+GST/week (50% Discount on standard rate)

Please note that additional weekly charges may be incurred if signs are not taken down on time.
